How a QT10-15 Paver Block Machine Produces Pavement Blocks

At Changsha Aichen Machinery Co., Ltd., we pride ourselves on delivering block production solutions for the construction and building materials industries. One of our best selling products is the QT10-15 paver block manufacturing plant, a high-efficiency, fully automatic block production line that plays a critical role in modern urban infrastructure. But how exactly does QT10-15 pavement blocks machine produce pavement blocks?

Step 1: Preparing the Raw Materials

The first step in the process is preparing the raw material mix. The QT10-15 block machine uses a precise combination of:

  • Cement
  • Sand
  • Gravel
  • Water
  • Optional: Pigments or additives for color and performance

These materials are loaded into batching equipment, which measures and mixes them in accurate proportions.

Step 2: Feeding and Mixing

The raw materials are transferred into a twin-shaft mixer, where they are thoroughly blended to form a consistent concrete mix. This is crucial for ensuring high block strength and uniformity.

Once mixed, the material is conveyed to a hopper above the block-forming machine, ready for molding.

Step 3: Block Molding

This is where the QT10-15 block making machine’s advanced technology comes into play. The machine includes a vibration and hydraulic pressing system that ensures high compaction and density.

The molding process includes:

  1. Filling the Mold: The concrete mix is dropped into a mold cavity.
  2. Vibration and Compression: Vibrators and hydraulic pressure compact the mix inside the mold, ensuring high density.
  3. Forming the Block: After compression, the newly formed paver block is released from the mold onto a pallet.

The QT10-15 can produce multiple blocks in each cycle—up to 10 standard blocks or 15 smaller pavers—making it ideal for large-scale production.

Step 4: Curing the Blocks

After molding, the green (unhardened) blocks are stacked and transferred to a curing area or chamber. Curing is essential to achieve full strength and durability.

  • Typically, blocks are cured for 24 to 48 hours.
  • Steam or water curing can be used to accelerate the process and improve quality.

Step 5: Final Products – Ready for Use

Once cured, the pavement blocks are ready for inspection, packaging, and delivery. The QT10-15 brick machine is capable of producing various types, shapes, and colors of paver blocks, including:

  • Zigzag pavers
  • I-shape pavers
  • Hexagon pavers
  • Interlocking tiles

Thanks to its high precision, low maintenance, and robust construction, the QT10-15 brick making machine ensures that each block meets strict quality and dimensional standards.
